About Maruti: with a touch of animal Maruti stands for shoes with clean designs and special, quality materials.

Our roots are in the Netherlands. In rural Weert to be exact, surrounded by fields and water. The ideal basis for inspiration and experimentation. We work on the collection with a small dedicated team, as one family. Our motivation is simple: just make beautiful shoes. In design and quality.

Every season we are inspired by trends that are incorporated into new materials. Because we work a lot with natural materials and experimental washes, not one pair is exactly the same. That makes each pair of Maruti shoes unique.

In 2012, we introduced the 'Gimlet'. A women's shoe made of hair-on leather with an animal or fashion print named after the sophisticated 1920s cocktail. In addition to the successful animal prints, we also add new fashion prints to the collection every season. We handle our materials consciously and also make other products from the remnants, such as bracelets, belts and purses.
