The company Lugina, where our shoes come from, is based in Schwanheim, which is in West Germany. Waldläufer shoes are sold all over the world, but still produced in Europe. In the production process, we combine sustainable and modern automated processes with old-fashioned handwork.

The knowledge within our company is passed on from generation to generation. This is how we guarantee quality.

Every day we make 15,000 pairs of shoes, that's about 3 million a year. Every season we offer another contemporary collection, where you can choose from new models and colors. One thing never changes: the unique walking comfort of our shoes.

A shoe from Waldläufer fits like a glove. And that's no accident. Every shoe is tailored to the unique shape of our feet. We work with soft, supple leathers, a removable footbed, a narrow heel closure and different widths (from G to M).
