Essential in-depth training for professionals in the footwear industry
With the Shoe Expert Training, Detex Opleidingen introduces a compact 3-day training program for professionals who want to strengthen their product knowledge and customer advisory skills. The training focuses on key aspects of the footwear profession, such as materials, fit, manufacturing, and basic foot anatomy, complemented by sales and hospitality skills.
Participants develop in-depth knowledge of women’s, men’s, and children’s footwear and learn how to apply this knowledge directly on the shop floor. The training is designed for (assistant) store managers, sales associates, and buyers, both starters and experienced professionals.
The program consists of six core modules and is partly delivered in collaboration with Wittepoel. Upon completion, participants receive the Detex Shoe Expert certificate. By taking an additional exam, participants can obtain the Detex Shoe Expert diploma.
