PREVIEW GOLF TOURNAMENT creates valuable connections
1 October 2026Last Friday, 25 September, the second edition of the PREVIEW GOLF TOURNAMENT took place at Golfbaan De Kroonprins in Vianen. The sporting and inspiring event brought together a diverse group of stakeholders from the footwear, sports and fashion industries for a day of golf, networking and meaningful connections. The tournament was organised by CAST, in collaboration with an enthusiastic group of sponsors.
Sporting challenge and networking
More than 85 participants took on the sporting challenge on the 18-hole golf course. Under a bright September sun, participants competed enthusiastically, while the day also provided plenty of opportunity to meet one another in an informal setting and make new connections. The combination of sport, relaxation and networking created an energetic and positive atmosphere throughout the day.
An opportunity for less experienced golfers
New this year was the opportunity to participate in a golf clinic. This allowed participants with less golf experience to get acquainted with the sport and be part of this valuable networking event.
Sponsors add to the experience on the course
The various sponsors were also present at different locations across the golf course in creative and eye-catching ways, adding to the atmosphere and overall experience throughout the tournament. Taittinger hosted a champagne bar, Signcentral offered traditional Dutch sausage rolls, Dstrezzed literally dressed up one of the holes, and several Audi cars were positioned around the course, made possible in part by Pon Center Utrecht.
Sport, relaxation and connection
After the tournament, participants gathered on the sunny terrace for a relaxed networking reception, followed by a delicious BBQ buffet. The day concluded with a festive prize-giving ceremony.

Together making a difference: €2.350 raised for charity
Instead of a contribution towards the green fee, participants were invited to make a symbolic donation to charity. Their generosity resulted in an impressive total of €2.350 being raised for three charitable organisations: Mannen voor Mannen, Stichting New Shoes and Pink Ribbon.
Thanks to the commitment and generosity of all participants, CAST is able to make a valuable contribution to these three important initiatives.
