PREVIEW WOMEN VIII Once Again Creates Valuable Industry Connections
30 June 2026Nieuwegein, June 30, 2026 – CAST looks back on a highly successful eighth edition of PREVIEW WOMEN, welcoming a record number of visitors. During the leading buying event for the womenswear industry, retailers, buyers, agents and more than 200 brands came together to discover new collections, identify emerging trends and strengthen valuable business relationships. PREVIEW WOMEN once again confirmed its position as the most efficient and inspiring buying event where product, personal interaction and hospitality take center stage.
Valuable Connections Start with Personal Meetings
As tradition dictates, the event day began with an inspiring motivational talk for all participants. The message was clear: in an era where digital communication has become the norm, the need for face-to-face interaction remains stronger than ever. PREVIEW WOMEN continues to prove that personal conversations lead to valuable connections, new partnerships and tangible business opportunities.
Throughout the day, a steady flow of visitors filled the event floor. Exhibitors reported having ample opportunity to present their collections, schedule appointments and write orders directly. Once again, PREVIEW WOMEN demonstrated its strong conversion value for both brands and retailers.
Strong Brand Portfolio Featuring Exciting Newcomers
This edition also welcomed a range of exciting new brands to the event. Among the newcomers were Rue de Tokyo, Gitta Banko, Moismont, ROCKANDBLUE, Dutchess, Gustav, Urban Pioneers, Même Road, Talking Walls, Jumper 1234 and Mondo Corsini, all of which received an enthusiastic response from visitors.
Retailers and buyers who would like to revisit the collections or find contact details of participating brands can do so via the PREVIEW WOMEN online brand pages, where the complete brand list, lookbooks and additional brand information are available.
Successful Introduction of the DK Company Area
One of the highlights of this edition was the launch of the DK Company Area. Located on Level 2 around the atrium, DK Company presented an inspiring brand experience where visitors could explore the group's complete portfolio of fashion brands. In addition to the extensive brand presentations, the dedicated DK Company Smoothie Bar provided an informal meeting point where visitors could network, catch up and gain fresh inspiration while enjoying a freshly made smoothie.
Hospitality Makes the Difference
As visitors have come to expect from CAST, hospitality was once again a key element of the event experience. The consistent event styling, personal service, high-quality catering and complimentary parking created a relaxed environment where sourcing, buying and networking came together seamlessly.
Many exhibitors and visitors emphasized that they value not only the quality of the event itself, but also the personal attention provided by the organization. This unique combination of professionalism and hospitality has made PREVIEW WOMEN a fixed appointment in the calendars of many fashion professionals.
Even the smallest details were appreciated. The fresh flowers that decorated the event throughout the day were given a second life afterwards, with visitors invited to take them home as a lasting reminder of a successful event.
Continuously Improving
To help visitors navigate the event efficiently, a clear routing system featuring a recognizable white line and dedicated hostesses guided guests through the four exhibition sections (A, B, C and D). At the same time, the organization continues to identify opportunities to further enhance the visitor experience and will incorporate feedback into future editions.
"We received an incredible number of positive and heartwarming reactions, both during and after the event," says Marijn Verschure, Managing Director of CAST. "This appreciation gives us tremendous energy. At the same time, we carefully listen to constructive feedback. Only by continuously improving can we ensure that PREVIEW WOMEN remains relevant and valuable for both visitors and exhibitors."
More Than a Networking Event
PREVIEW WOMEN is part of CAST's broader strategy to bring together the fashion, footwear and sports industries while creating sustainable connections. In addition to the PREVIEW events, CAST organizes a major golf tournament, the trend event Beyond the Trend (in collaboration with Textilia), international sales meetings, collection presentations and a variety of retail-focused gatherings.
Together, these activities form a strong ecosystem where knowledge sharing, inspiration and business success go hand in hand.
Founded in 1984, CAST has evolved from a business buying centre into a trade association for suppliers in the fashion, footwear and sports industries. Through its concepts of showrooms (business), knowrooms (knowledge) and wowrooms (inspiration), CAST supports its members on multiple levels through events, knowledge sharing, business facilities and collective member benefits.
